    All the Google cook suckers will jump on everbodys comment because when you say something against their product, it is against these people’s religion.

    Break it people, Google is not God nor religion. You can criticize it. Just because they removed almost all sorts of web addon support and make Firefox faster, it doesn’t have to be superior. Firefox had served web community for years for fucking FREE. Now, instead of trying to better support them, you jump on Google’s cock. we’ll stay.

    Unless by privacy you’re referring to passwords in which case it handles it roughly the same way as Firefox

    No, no, because it’s faster, no (though betas are available if that’s your thing), I didn’t realize web browsers came with warranties considering they’re free, about the same way any other browser does which I imagine is none

    What is it, a copy of Firefox? Can I use Firefox extensions with this? Why may I change Firefox, a tremendous and reliable browser with this Beta browser. All Google products are Beta? That is because there is no warranty of any kind? How this browser affect my privacy? I hope not reading all of my emails like Gmail do.
    A lot of questions… with no answer…

    Grr, keeps telling me that I can’t install extensions because I don’t have the latest version of Chrome. Which I do. Even after re-downloading and installing (twice) the latest versions of Chrome it still won’t work.

    Well, after watching the video, there’s an extension called “AdThwart” which I would imagine does roughly the same thing.

    @Amidity: Why shouldn’t Google try and take over? So what if their product if free, lots of other products are free too that they have. You don’t see people complaining about IE8 when they have blatantly copied Chrome and all of the other browsers. Chrome is about making a browser which everyone can use and enjoy by combining features from other browsers. All open source mind and completely copyright free allowing other web browsers to use their code making the web a better place for everyone

    @Amidity: continued…
    I mean, listen to 0:55. “Building a custom browser”? Yeah, Firefox doesn’t offer that. It’s rather sad to see Google try to defeat Mozilla so that they don’t have to pay a slim amount of money to them each time someone googles something on Firefox. Which Google pays Firefox to set as their default search engine for…control.

    I realize that Google is trying to dominate all internet media. They own the search engine, the video hosting, emails, blogs, the translator, phone operating system, and tons more. I know they work hard to achieve and maintain this monopoly, buying out competitors and aggressively promoting their own products. But a web browser just seems a little pathetic. I mean, they’re going through all this trouble to oust a nonprofit, perfectly capable web browser just so that they can get more control.
