    Hi thanks for this video. Can you advise me does the Desire have a notification light for missed calls texts etc. I know the Nexus one has trackball for this option light. Thanks

    @D3T101 Well personally I’d say the desire. They’re almost exactly the same. Yet the Desire has HTC Sense UI. HTC Sense has this thing called leap, pinch on the screen and then it gives u all SEVEN (and I emphasized that because I think standard Android 2.1 only gives u five) homescreens to jump right into instead of scrolling from one side to the other. So I’d say the desire simply because of the Sense UI, and hardware buttons which tend to be more reliable than touch,

    @YourMainDude1
    Android is getting adobe flash 10.1 beta. For BOTH mobiles. So there will be adobe 10.1 later on the android phones. I’m glad it’s not for the iPhone. xD And please… Don’t type BReEzAh.

    Desire is amazing. I’m thrilled every time I pick it up. For those concerned about updates to OS, Android 2.1 is fantastic and I really won’t be bothered if I can’t get an upgrade to 2.2. I’m sure we’ll be able to get updates to the OS not long after they come out though. HTC ALL THE WAY!!!

    The Desire may be slighty better but what stops me is the fact that in a few months time when Android 2.2 Froyo is released, the N1 will get it instantly, how long till the Desire gets it? I currently have a nokia 5800 and it won’t download the latest update with kinetic scrolling. So will the N1 be better in the long term?

    @D3T101 The HTC Desire is the better one, a little more RAM, mulit touch out of the box, HTC Sense!, FM radio, flash support out of the box and divx playback with an update which is coming pretty soon!

    For me the choise was pretty easy, but if you live in the US you will miss triband with desire.. also voice search.

    @Quin0rz It is now seeing as you can now get the text to speech for it…… So it has more ram, better trackball, better apps, better ui, better keypad, better camera software. Only thing it doesnt have like you say is active noise cancellation but who really cares when you have all of those extra goodies?

    @alexvat1995

    Based on what ?
    The only differences are that the HTC Desire has SenseUI and the Google N1 has Noice cancelation. The optical trackball vs normal trackball.

    Dont start to yell stupid things because they are practical the same. It’s all about wich one the customer prefers. I got the HTC Desire. But its just dumb to shout its better because it is not.

    @4743hudsonj It’s the question wich one you prefer. I love Sense UI.
    I like the optical trackball in my desire. But does everybody ?

    So it’s not a matter of wich one is better because its a matter of taste between these two phones. Its stupid to say Desire is better.
