    from google’s terms of service:

    5.5 Unless you have been specifically permitted to do so in a separate agreement with Google, you agree that you will not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, trade or resell the Services for any purpose.

    you agreed to this when you got your wave invite.

    You can get a Google Voice invite on eBay (from Google, not some scammer) Do a search and find it for yourself. They charge less than $10 and send the invitation back nearly instantaneously. It works. I bought 2 of them.

    here’s an interesting little fact:

    selling something that is free and not yours to sell can land you with a $50,000 per instance fine and up to 6 years in prison.

    @kunaldubey0209

    That is complete BS. Don’t buy this stupid lie. I requested an invite not too long ago and they replied with an invitation a week later. Save your bucks, and simply click “Request Invite”

    Take care,
    -Pablo

    Reply to: schantzman87 ~ Yes, a minute is a minute. As with any cell phone provider your minutes are calculated on both incoming and outgoing calls. And if you have free nights and weekends “any” calls made and received during this time is free. The same would apply, your individual cell phone plan will not be altered.

    This is free-economy, you give up your privacy for goods. The next step would be giving up your freedom for goods, that step would be really messed up, but in certain way it is actually happening. But Google makes it look less evil offering unbelievable good products and services.

    No, zoe, you are missing the point. What it is really crazy is that private companies have more information than the government itself.
